Hotel Villa St. Pierre Review
A simple, modern decor typifies this modest bay-front property that is somewhere between a hôtel de charme (boutique hotel) and a French business hotel. From five of the nine rooms you can watch the boats at anchor sway with the tides. (The beach has black sand and pebbles, but the hotel has a dive shop, so enjoy life underwater.) The other four rooms face the street, and you can expect some street noise. That annoyance is counteracted by flat-screen TVs and Internet access. Guests and nonguests alike enjoy the traditional French fare served at the 20-seat restaurant. Like the table settings, the cuisine has a Caribbean flair (it's open noon-2:30, Tuesday-Sunday and for dinner by reservation). Note that there isn't really enough space or any children's activities to make this a good option for families.
