Fodor's Review:
The Atlantic Ocean and the Laguna del Condado border this high-rise (once a Wyndham), whose two wings -- fittingly named Ocean and Lagoon -- are connected by a covered walkway. Standard rooms have nice touches like walk-in closets and dressing areas. A stay on the Plaza Club floor entitles you to 24-hour concierge service, use of a private lounge, as well as complimentary Continental breakfast and refreshments all day. Find your own place in the sun on the beach or beside one of four pools. Dining options include the poolside Tony Roma's.

HOTEL IS LOCATED IN A PRIME LOCATION, BUT THE SERVICE AND CLEANLINESS OF THE ROOMS MUST BE IMPROVED.
two star service at four star prices

No reason at all to stay here. Doormen watched me struggle to get my luggage through the doors; snarly front desk help. The "beach" is a spit of sand ending under a highway overpass, directly under the flight path. Rooms are beautiful, but not practical -- no knob, handle on the inside of the bathroom door, we had to pry open the sliding doors with our fingers, or leave the doors open while using the bathroom. Form over function in a BIG way.
