Fodor's Review:

The prettiest place to stay in Culebra, this cluster of plantation-style cottages sits on a hilltop overlooking Fulladoza Bay. The place feels completely isolated, but it is only a mile or so from the center of town. Opt for one of the rooms surrounding the pool or one of the spacious villas. The largest sleeps five, making it a favorite of families. Specializing in seafood, the terrace restaurant ($$-$$$) is one of the best on the island. The friendly staff are happy to help you set up snorkeling and diving trips or arrange transportation to the beach.

Stay AWAY--Unless they Cut the Price in Half

Positives: Extraordinary view, of the open water, bay and beauty of Culebra, which is a tranquil little island about one hour by ferry from the east coast of Puerto Rico or 25 minutes by small plane, from San Juan. Also a peaceful spot. Very few people. Little noise. A really nice small porch outside the villas. Negatives: This place is an insult. A rip off. Most disappointing given the wonderfulnatural setting. You get a bed that is wrapped in plastic and that sags so much we got up and slept on the floor, the pillows also had some weird plastic wrap on them. Anytime you moved, the bad made all kinds of noise and rolled around. The shower was like a spitting bit of rotting luke-warm water. No pressure. The bedroom itself, had almost no windows, it felt like you were in a hospital room. The living room, despite its position facing the extraordinary scene outside, had smallish-windows that you could not really open. The hotel itself is next door to a landfill. And the management or staff---what managemnet or staff? You arrive. You pay in advance. That is the last you see of them. No restaurant. Not even a place to get coffee. No room cleaning service. They did not even offer to open the gate so the cab could bring our bags to the room. Sign the credit card slip and then see ya. You carry our bags up the hill to the room. Unless you check out more than 20 minutes late, you never hear from them again. As there is no late check out: you will be automatically charged for another day. This place should shut down, get a new owner and try again. Better for now to stay somewhere else.
