Fodor's Review:
The Cabo Rojo Lighthouse is this resort's closest neighbor. You can wander along the boardwalk or down the garden paths, bask in the sun on a deck or terrace, or relax in the pool that was added to the property in 2005. Another addition is a spa offering a wide range of massages and other treatments. The hotel's restaurant, Agua al Cuello, serves freshly caught seafood; don't overlook the giant tostones. The guest rooms are spacious and have reproduction antiques. At this writing, about 100 more rooms were slated to open by the end of 2006. Note that on weekends a two-night stay is required.
