Fodor's Review:
If you thought carpaccio was only made with beef, then you're in for a wonderful surprise. At Crú, one of San Juan's best new restaurants, a special carpaccio menu includes old standards like beef with truffle oil and Parmesan cheese, as well as new concoctions like halibut with fresh mango and cuttlefish with caramelized onions. It's all laid out for you on a bed of ice so you can choose whatever strikes your fancy. Main dishes include penne with porcini mushrooms and filet of lamb with eggplant. The dining room, like the rest of the Normandie Hotel, has some wonderful art-deco flourishes.
