$$-$$$, Contemporary, San Juan

Fodor's Review:

Facing Plaza San José, this bright and airy restaurant often throws open the doors and lets its tables spill into the square. If you want a little more privacy, there's also an interior courtyard and an intimate dining room with whitewashed walls, linen tablecloths, and lazily turning ceiling fans. Expect nouvelle Caribbean appetizers such as dumplings with guava-rum sauce or plantain mousse with shrimp, and entrées such as ravioli with a goat-cheese and pork with mango and sugarcane.
