In a wooden shack painted vivid shades of yellow and red, Fango is the island's best place for gifts. Local artist Jorge Acevedo paints scenes of island life and Culebra's natural tableau of mangroves and seascapes. The shop—half-studio, half-boutique— is no bigger than a walk-in closet, but you could easily kill an hour browsing among his one-of-a-kind works and original T-shirts.
