Bilí

Bilí Review

Next door to Bananas, this airy and colorful Mediterranean-style tapas restaurant deserves better than the overflow from its more established neighbor. It has the same view, sleeker decor, and more authentic food, prepared by Eva Bolívar, former private chef to a Puerto Rican governor. For lunch, order a tasty sandwich such as dorado wrap with caramelized onions, plantains, and roasted peppers. For something heartier, try seafood paella—the house specialty. Stop by for a beer in the evening and you won't have to shout to be heard.
