Wall House Review

There's a new chef at the helm of this steak house-style restaurant on the far side of Gustavia Harbor. Favorite dishes, such as the light-as-air gnocci with pesto and the roasted duck marinated in honey, remain while others have been revised or replaced. Steaks are Prime Angus Beef from the USA, and are offered in sizes from "queen" to "emperor." Local businesspeople crowd the restaurant for the bargain €11 prix-fixe lunch menu (posted daily on their Facebook page), with classic dishes like duck-leg confit, but there are big salads too. For €18 the menu includes the main dish or salad of the day, coffee and petits fours, and a glass of wine or beer. An old-fashioned dessert trolley showcases yummy classic sweets.

    Great View of Gustavia Harbor&

The Wall House is right on the water at the far end of Gustavia (next to the museum). The main attraction on the menu is meat cooked on a rotating spit. Dont be afraid to order the duck the wait staff will de-bone everything at your table. The waiters are all friendly young French expatriates and they will tell you where the good parties are (because they will be there themselves!).
