Everyone is treated like family at this casual retreat. Ten clean, fresh, and nicely decorated -- if somewhat plain -- rooms are right on serene Flamands Beach; each has a kitchenette and private terrace. There's also a small pool. The food at La Langouste, the hotel's restaurant, is tasty and reasonably priced. The proprietor also manages a four-bedroom, three-bath villa a bit farther up the hill.

I booked this hotel on March 23 for a three night stay in MAY. Much to my chagrin, my plans changed the next day and I had to cancel to a one night stay. When I made my change, they told me they were going to charge me the 8% cancellation fee. I really thought this was cheesy since it was only 24 hours after my original reservation along with the fact that they certainly could rent the room in the next two months. After this, I just cancelled the whole reservation; I thought Annie was being greedy, particularly since I was going to stay there the one night that i could. So, just beware!!RATING: 1.0
