This restful, cozy B&B, a two-minute drive from Frigate Bay beaches, provides truly local warmth, courtesy of Judith and Keith Blake. Their gingerbread house and surrounding garden are lovely: the living and dining rooms have carved mahogany doors, crystal chandeliers, English rugs, and hardwood floors. The extensive, breezy veranda seduces with white-wicker chaise lounges, hammocks, and majestic sea views. Two rooms have brass beds draped with mosquito netting. The larger, preferable one has a full kitchen and its own patio and entrance. Judith prepares lavish breakfasts of banana pancakes and pumpkin fritters. Islanders also cherish her homemade ice creams, which you can sample on-site.
