Taxi rates are government regulated and are posted at the airport, the dock, and in the free tourist guide. There are fixed rates to and from all the hotels and to and from major points of interest. In St. Kitts you can call the St. Kitts Taxi Association. In Nevis, taxi service is available at the airport, by the dock in Charlestown, and through arrangements made at your hotel. Sample fares from the dock: EC$43 to Nisbet Plantation, EC$21 to the Four Seasons, and EC$29 to Hermitage. There is a 50% surcharge between 10 PM and 6 AM.
