Coco Palm Review

This stylish boutique hotel in Rodney Bay Village also includes Coco Kreole, a cozy guesthouse at the edge of the property; both are right in the middle of the Rodney Bay Village action. Coco Palm guest rooms—including six swim-up rooms adjacent to the pool and a dozen spacious suites—are beautifully decorated in French Caribbean plantation style, with every modern convenience. Cordless phones, CD and DVD players, free Wi-Fi and Internet access, flat-screen TVs (in suites), and ultramodern baths with walk-in showers and claw-foot tubs (in suites) are amenities you'd expect at much pricier resorts. The 20 Coco Kreole rooms are smaller and wrap around what is more like a comfortable living room than a hotel lobby. The excellent KoKo Cabana bistro and bar overlook Coco Palm's pool and bandstand, Little Chef restaurant offers a second dining option, and all the action of Rodney Bay Village and beautiful Reduit Beach is within walking distance.

Luxe for Less
This plantation-style boutique hotel is action-central for the Rodney Bay Village scene. Guest rooms with an eye towards soothing Feng Shui design—including six swim-up rooms and a dozen spacious suites—offer every modern convenience. Cordless phones, DVD players, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and ultramodern bathrooms with walk-in showers and claw-foot tubs (in suites) are amenities you'd expect at much pricier resorts. Ti Bananne, the breezy bistro/bar, is open all day and into the evening; live bands entertain nightly at the poolside bandstand. Reduit Beach, St. Lucia's best, is within walking distance. Classy, stylish, family-friendly, and—best of all—very reasonably priced.
