High on luxury and glitz, this is a place to see and be seen. The infinity pool, one of the chicest in the Caribbean, has sun pods (round, white cushioned loungers), a swim-up bar, and iPods to borrow. Suites, which have colonial-style furnishings and luxurious bedding and appointments, have 2 or 3 bedrooms but can be subdivided to create 1-bedroom suites and regular rooms (which will have only a kitchenette); all bedrooms have a separate terrace. One big plus for families is the washer and dryer in all but regular rooms. Service is always friendly but can sometimes be lacking if problems arise. The spa is stunningly beautiful, offering every treatment imaginable; it certainly ranks among the best in the Caribbean. Rates include the best breakfast on the island but not the kids' club, which is an extra charge.
