By Air in Turks and Caicos

By Air

The main gateways into the regions are Providenciales International Airport and Grand Turk International Airport. For private planes, Provo Air Center is a full service FBO (Fixed Base Operator) offering refueling, maintenance, and short-term storage, as well as on-site customs and immigration clearance, a lounge, and concierge services.

Although carriers and schedules can vary according to season, you can find nonstop and connecting flights to Providenciales from several U.S. cities on American, Delta, and USAirways; Air Jamaica provides connecting service on Air Jamaica Express through Montego Bay. During the high season, Spirit Air flies from Fort Lauderdale to both Provo and Grand Turk, and there are weekly charters from a number of North American cities (Club Med, for example, organizes its own weekly charter from the New York City area). Air Canada flies nonstop from Toronto. British Airways flies from the United Kingdom. There are also flights from the Bahamas and parts of the Caribbean on Bahamasair, Air Turks and Caicos, and SkyKing; these airlines also fly to some of the smaller islands in the chain from Provo.
