Fodor's Review:

Watch the serene scene of sailboats floating at anchor while supping; sunsets are especially spectacular here. Enjoy French toast topped with toasted coconut for breakfast, a grilled mahimahi sandwich with black olive-caper mayonnaise at lunch, or red snapper with pecans, bananas, and a coconut rum sauce for dinner.

Go for lunch

Although it might be a little difficult to find, this is a great spot for lunch; right on a good snorkeling beach on the east end. Friendly service; priced well for the islands.

Location better than food

Posted by MHG1 from Ann Arbor, MI on 5/1/07
The food is average at best. The chef is in love with rosemary and kills virtually all dishes with it. You can do better on the east end. The location is very nice being right above the beach and outdoors with an awning cover.

Stellar Cuisine

Posted by Jody53 from East Coast USA on 1/23/07
The cuisine at Blue Moon Cafe is very innovative & Island gourmet - with the freshest ingredients and beautiful presentation. One can clearly see that the New Chef loves his craft! Many Caribbean flavors with the fish dishes, also great steaks and Island versions of all meats and seafood...some delicately flavored, some very spicy (try the Jambalaya -interestingly spiced). Appetizers are unbelievable. Desserts are few, but are different and tasty! One of the best & extensive wine lists on Island and the staff is very helpful with pairing a bottle with your food choices. Lunches are also great. The small bar area and restaurant are all right on the beach and dress is Island casual at night. Bon Appetit!
