Fodor's Review:
Savant is one of those small but special spots that locals love. The cuisine is a fusion of Mexican, Thai, and Caribbean -- an unusual combination that works surprisingly well. You can find anything from vegetables in a red curry sauce to enchiladas stuffed with chicken to maple-teriyaki pork tenderloin coming out of the kitchen. With 20 tables crammed into the indoor area and small courtyard, this little place can get crowded. Call early for reservations.

Wonderful service and a tasteful and srtistic decor help the overall experience become something quite special. great people-watching and a sometimes overwhelmingly creative specials menu. go here when on st croix- you won't be disappointed.

A wonderful place that is also popular with the locals. So, get a reservation. The steak was great, and a good value. The bread pudding dessert was a bit of a disappointment.
