¢-$, Caribbean, St. John
Fodor's Review:
Stop by Vie's when you're out exploring the island. Although it's just a shack by the side of the road, Vie's serves up some great cooking. The garlic chicken legs are crisp and tasty, and the conch fritters are really something to write home about. Plump and filled with fresh herbs, a plateful will keep you going for the rest of the afternoon. Save room for a wedge of coconut pie -- called a tart in this neck of the woods. When you're done eating, a spectacular white-sand beach across the road beckons.
