In a wooded area near a secluded shore of the lake, this glowingly yellow fin-de-siècle villa sits on the outskirts of town but is within walking distance of all the action. Resembling a luxurious vacation home from a bygone age, its public rooms are furnished with polished Biedermeier antiques and Oriental carpets. The only sound you'll hear is the gentle lapping of water and the ticking of the grandfather clock. Rooms, some of which have a loft for sleeping, are contemporary in style, with gleaming wooden floors and cool white sofas and chairs. A few have terraces overlooking the lake, but all have gorgeous views.
