Alpenhof Review
A large chalet set against a velvety green hillside is an ideal starting point for summer hiking. It's also perfect for winter skiing, particularly because it's located close to the cable car and the cross-country ski tracks. From the outside the hotel is completely out of place with the modest houses of the Defereggental, but inside the rooms are spacious and comfortable and have flower-covered balconies. The hotel pays particular attention to families with children, and has a program to take care of youngsters during the day. The restaurant showcases regional dishes.
