Parkhotel Tristachersee Review
A little more than 4 km (2½ mi) southeast of Lienz is a small lake hidden on a hill. It's a magical setting for this grand country hotel that seems to be floating on the water. An open-air spa lets you be pampered as you enjoy great views out onto the lake. A waterfront terrace has an excellent restaurant serving regional cuisine, including fresh fish from the hotel's own ponds. Try the grilled pike-perch with homemade noodles and braised tomatoes. To get here, take the road via Amlach marked to Tristachersee.
