War Memorial Chapel Review
Three blocks from St. Andrä—cross the Pfarrbrücke into Beda Weber-Gasse and turn left into Patriadorferstrasse—you'll find the War Memorial Chapel, designed in 1926 by Clemens Holzmeister, the architect responsible for Salzburg's Festspielhaus and Felsenreitschule (the two festival theaters). The wall paintings are by Albin Egger-Lienz (1868-1926), who is renowned for his ability to portray human strength and weakness and who is also buried here.
