Peter Rosegger Review

This rustic chalet at the forest's edge is decorated with homey mementos—framed letters and embroidered mottoes—of the Styrian novelist after whom it is named. This is the place to stay when you've come for scale the heights, as Fritz Walcher heads the climbing school. Rooms are country comfortable, and the restaurant (hotel guests only) is one of the best in the area, with such local specialties as house-smoked trout, Styrian corned pork, and stuffed breast of veal.
