Rauter Review

With an ultramodern facade, geometric lines, and slick surfaces, this fashionable hotel stands in stark contrast to the usual rustic Alpine style. Here, too, are many diversions and the best restaurant in East Tirol. The fish comes from the hotel's own waters, the lamb from the nearby mountains, and the house bakery fills the shelves at the café. A bus brings you to hiking areas in summer and ski slopes in winter. Fishing is available for those staying three days or longer, and there is horseback riding nearby.
