pilgrimage church Review

Frauenkirchen is known mainly for its pilgrimage church, rebuilt in 1702 after its 14th-century predecessor was destroyed by invading Turks, and again restored following World War II. The Baroque interior has a much-venerated wooden statue of the Virgin from the 13th century. Note the miniature Mount Calvary depiction alongside the church.
