Landgasthof Zur Linde Review

This family-run country inn, 24 km (15 miles) northwest of Mayerlingin the small town of Laaben bei Neulengbach, offers an excellent base from which to explore the countryside. The town—situated in the heart of Vienna Woods and equidistant from Mayerling and Heiligenkreuz—lies in the shadow of the 2,900-foot Schöpfl Mountain. Rooms are modest but complete and comfortable, with rustic trimmings. The rambling restaurant, with its several wood-beam rooms, serves standard tasty Austrian fare, with seasonal specialties such as lamb, asparagus, and game.
