Eisenbahnmuseum Das Heizhaus

Eisenbahnmuseum Das Heizhaus Review

The Eisenbahnmuseum Das Heizhaus, north of Strasshof, is a fascinating private collection of dozens of steam locomotives and railroad cars stored in a vast engine house. Enthusiasts have painstakingly rebuilt and restored many of the engines; steam locomotives are up and running on the first Sunday of each month. The complex includes a transfer table, water towers, and a coaling station, and few can resist climbing around among many of the locomotives awaiting restoration.
