Jüdisches Museum (Jewish Museum)

Jüdisches Museum (Jewish Museum) Review

In 1617 a decree was signed that welcomed Jews to Hohenems and allowed them to live and work in peace. For the next 300 years a large Jewish community thrived here, but by 1938 fewer than 20 Jews remained. The Jüdisches Museum, housed in the Villa Heimann-Rosenthal, has a large library, as well as photographs and historical documents on display.
