This centrally located hotel in Schruns looks huge, but inside the country style works well, and the rustic dark-wood exterior is carried over elegantly into the comfortable modern rooms with balconies. The hotel is in the center of a grassy garden platform, which forms a greenbelt around the main building and serves as a roof for the ground-floor pool and restaurants. The excellent Edelweiss restaurant, with its graceful table settings and candlelight, serves regional specialties done with flair. Edelweiss serves dinner only, but the hotel's other restaurant, Montafoner Stuben, also serves lunch in a relaxed atmosphere at less inflated prices.
