Villa Dubrovnik Review
Reopened in summer 2010 following a complete renovation, this romantic retreat lies a 20-minute walk east of the center and comprises a white modernist structure built into the rocks, as well as a series of terraces and a garden coming down to a hideaway cove with a small beach. The rooms are light and airy, and all have balconies and views across the water to Lokrum Island and the Old Town, and the spacious suites have the added luxury of a Jacuzzi. There are two restaurants with open-air terraces, plus a rooftop lounge affording a stunning vista. The hotel boat offers a complimentary water-taxi service to and from the Old Town; airport transfers by private car are available on request.
