La Villa Review
In a 19th-century villa with romantic gardens overlooking Lopud Bay, this small hotel is run by a friendly young Croatian couple. The eight guest rooms have minimalist modern furniture and primary-colored fabrics, mosaic-tile bathrooms, and either look onto the open sea or the back garden, which is planted with a giant magnolia tree, orange trees, and lavender bushes. There is no restaurant as such, but they can prepare tasty evening meals on request.
