Istria: Places to Explore

Vodnjan

Vodnjan may look a bit run-down at first glance, but there are three good reasons to come here: its saintly mummies; its quiet, narrow, centuries-old streets populated by a higher percentage of Italian speakers than you'll find almost anywhere else in Istria; and the Vodnjanka Restaurant's scrumptious fare. There are 10 buses daily between Pula and Vodnjan, at 12 Kn each way, payable directly to the driver.
