Eco-Center Caput Insulae-Beli

Eco-Center Caput Insulae-Beli Review

The northern end of the island is mountainous and forested, harboring wildlife such as the rare griffin vulture. Eco-Center Caput Insulae-Beli is run by the organization that helps protect these (in truth, pretty ugly) beasts, as well as the environment and heritage of the island. Two small exhibitions concentrate on the biodiversity and the history of northern Cres, and the center can also give you information on bird-watching and eco-trails.
