Car Travel

While visiting Split and the nearby islands of Brac, Hvar, and Vis, you are certainly better off without a car. However, you may wish to rent a vehicle to drive up the coast to Sibenik and Krka National Park, or down the coast to Omis and Makarska, although these destinations are also well served by buses.
