Restoran Kornat

Restoran Kornat Review

Just outside the city walls on the tip of the peninsula, the Kornat offers fine dining, even if the space is a tad dull despite (or because of) all the sparkling elegance, marked by warm yellow hues that extend also to the cloth napkins. On the ground floor of a four-story concrete-box building, the restaurant serves original, first-rate cuisine, with an emphais on seafood—try the monkfish fillet with truffle sauce—plus a limited choice of hearty meat dishes, including leg of lamb with roasted potatoes. Desserts include melon with champagne. There's also an extensive wine list, from the best of Croatian elixirs to the smoothest shiraz.
