Pag Carnival Review
Pag Carnival, featuring a range of music on and around the main square, dance and folk-song performances—and, not least, the annual reenactment of a 16th-century folk drama, Paska robinja "Slave Girl of Pag," which tells the story of buying back an enslaved girl, the granddaughter of the ruler Ban Derencin, who was defeated by the Turks.
