Zadar and Northern Dalmatia Sights
If you're driving or bussing it from the north, you can stop for an excursion to Pag Island and at Paklenica National Park before arriving in Zadar. The pretty little town of Nin, meanwhile, is just a half-hour north of Zadar and most easily done as a day trip (or even a half-day trip). Though many daily ferries can take you to the Zadar archipelago, Sali (two hours from Zadar by ferry) is a good place to base yourself for a night or two if you want to explore the outer reaches and have the best access to Telascica Nature Park. A drive or bus trip to Murter will get you within a short boat ride of the spectacular Kornati National Park.
