Opposite the parade of Gothic statues leading you down into town sits this massive gallery housed inside a former Jesuit college. Long, long open corridors and a certain reverential vibe make this an ideal space to display art. A series of rotating collections, both historic and contemporary, come through these floors, but the biggest draw for a visitor is the reproduction of a rare illuminated manuscript depicting Kutná Hora's mining process. Acquired at auction, this illustration captures in amazing detail the daily life that took place around the area, all with picture-book like cross-sections. Don't miss the gift shop with its collection of artsy books and avant garde handbags. The shelving alone is a work of art.
