This art nouveau palais dominates a picturesque corner near the Prasná brána (Powder Tower). The clean and comfortable hotel was remodeled in the 1990s by its Austrian owners, who opted for a muted, modern look. The overall effect is nice but just shy of elegant. Although the location is unbeatable, and there are little perks, the rooms are a bit overpriced when compared with others.

Staff was terrible

This hotel was NOT a 5 star as they advertise. It was a 4 star at best, probably a 3.5 star. To be a five star hotel you need to have good service. I have stayed all around the world in luxury hotels. The service here was by far the worst. I have never met such impolite staff at a hotel as the Bohemia. I dont know their problems, but they need to drop them at the door when they come to work. The managment there should enroll them in some skills classes to deal with customers. On the good side of the hotel was the location, it was very centralized. The rooms were average Europe sized, the tub was huge. On the down side, the staff was terrible, the internet cost a fourtune (their website implied it was free when it wasnt), and the towels smelled bad. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, despite the price, you can stay a lot cheaper (or at a REAL 5 star)and have people who will be courteous to you.
