When to Go to Southern Bohemia

Southern Bohemia is an nature lover's paradise, and in nice weather it seems that the whole country heads here for cycling and hiking trips. Most of the main attractions are closed November through March, as well as Monday year-round, so winters will be quiet, but no less lovely in its snowy way. Many will do weekend Christmas markets, so December is a particularly pretty time. Note: roads get congested with weekenders on Friday and Sunday.
