Fodor's Review:
Birger Christensen, purveyor to the royal family and Copenhagen's finest furrier, deals only in Saga Royal quality. The store presents a new collection yearly from its in-house design team. Expect to spend about 20% less than in the United States for same-quality furs ($5,000-$10,000 for mink, $3,000 for a fur-lined coat), but as always, it pays to do your homework before you leave home. Birger Christensen is also among the preeminent fashion houses in town, carrying labels like Donna Karan, Chanel, Prada, Kenzo, Jil Sander, and Yves Saint Laurent.
