Tour the neat, mustard-color enclave of Nyboder, a perfectly laid-out compound of flat, long, former sailors' homes built by Christian IV. Like Nyhavn, the area was seedy and boisterous at the beginning of the 1970s, but today has become one of Copenhagen's more fashionable neighborhoods. At Nyboder Mindestuer (Skt. Paulsg. 24, Christianshavn. 33/32-10-05. DKr 10) you can view an exhibition of everyday life in Nyboder from its inception in 1631 to the present day. The people at this exhibition center also arrange guided tours of the neighborhood.
