Getting Here and Around

Trains by the Danish carrier Arriva leave Århus every half-hour for Silkeborg. The ride takes approximately 50 minutes, and costs DKr 78. By car, drive west on Route 15 toward Silkeborg. Local bus transportation is run by Midttrafik (www.midttrafik.dk) and will take you all over Silkeborg, as well as into the surrounding areas for DKr 32. Buses run several times an hour, but service slows at night.
