The Angel at Burford

The Angel at Burford Review

At this informal eatery in a 16th-century coaching inn, the farmhouse-style tables are filled with contemporary dishes like steak with port and blue cheese sauce, or mushroom linguine with spinach and mozzarella. A secluded, sunny garden is a perfect place for a lunchtime baguette. Upstairs, the three delightful guest rooms are furnished in different styles: Indian in rich reds, French with a wooden sleigh bed, and cool-green contemporary Italian.
