Circus Cafe and Restaurant
Circus Cafe and Restaurant Review
You could linger all day in this sophisticated eatery on the corner of the Circus. There's always a good crowd for morning coffee, elevenses (brunch), afternoon tea, and cocktails, let alone lunch and dinner, all of which are dispensed with efficient cordiality. If you can take your attention off the crumpets with Marmite, the nettle and lovage soup, or the savory eclairs filled with a twice-baked souffle of leeks and Bath soft cheese, you can discuss the colorful modern art on the walls. Desserts include green tea and lime-leaf sorbet. Ingredients are locally sourced and wines come from small growers.
