Getting Here and Around

There are direct buses (four hours) from London, but most rail journeys (two to three hours) involve changing trains. The bus and train stations are south of the center, and it's a steep walk uphill to the cathedral and castle. You can avoid the climb by taking the Walk & Ride electric bus service from the stop on St. Mary's Street. Purchase tickets on board. Drivers will find parking lots around the bus and train stations and in the center at the Lawn and Westgate.
