Whitechapel Art Gallery
Whitechapel Art Gallery Review
Established in 1897 and recently expanded, this large, independent East End gallery is one of London's most innovative and consistently interesting. Jeff Wall, Bill Viola, Gary Hume, and Mark Rothko have exhibited here and there is an interesting program of events as well as an excellent restaurant.
