The Landmark

Fodor's Review:

This is one of London's grande dame hotels. Rich fabrics in neutral tones make the rooms welcoming and elegant, while high-speed Internet and doorbells that can be muted are welcome high-tech additions. The lovely, eight-story atrium Winter Garden is overlooked by odd-numbered rooms. Even standard rooms here are among the largest in London and have white marble bathrooms with plush robes. Despite all this luxury, it's worth mentioning that this is one of the few grand London hotels that doesn't force you to dress up. Still, it's a bit old-fashioned for some, and the busy neighborhood outside means this isn't a peaceful oasis.
