Hazlitt's Review

This disarmingly friendly place, full of personality, robust antiques, and claw-foot tubs, occupies three connected early-18th-century houses, one of which was the last home of essayist William Hazlitt (1778-1830). Traditional style and furnishings form a large part of its appeal, but it's devoid of certain modern amenities—as the owners say, "In 1718 there were no elevators, and there still aren't". Nearby are more restaurants than you could visit in a year.
