More than two million customers have dined at this decade-old celebration venue on the eighth floor of the Oxo Tower overlooking the Thames on the South Bank. Ceiling slats turn from white to blue, but who notices, with St. Paul's Cathedral, the "Erotic Gherkin" office tower, and the majestic London skyline across the water? The brasserie is cheaper than the pricey restaurant, but both have great river views, especially in summer, with tables outside. Scottish lobster tempura, cod with Jerusalem artichokes, or plum-and-sake sorbet are all bound to please.

I went to the Brasserie with my husband. Fantastic view, but the free range chicken dish I ordered was pretty much inedible. My husband did enjoy his meal and our dessert was great. It was a bit of a letdown for me to go somewhere that pricey (for us)and not enjoy my entree. I would go back for the view but definitely order something else!

fabulous menu (veal for two was the best ever), great wine list, super view, attentive service. Just all round brilliant. Can't wait to go back there.
